Thankfully I have my monthly round-up to celebrate the little things that have helped me through the past month. Because lets be honest, there were many days when it wasn't easy.
Being a walking 'basic girl' Autumn edition stereotype with my tartan and Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
Seriously, I can't tell you how much I love both autumnal staples.
It was nice to take my tartan back out of storage this month. I think I'm secretly Scottish I love it that much. I wore the outfit to your right on a See Change ambassador meet-up. The meet-up gets a special shout-out for it's fabulous lunch served in the Opium Rooms, Camden Street and for boosting my confidence when it comes to talking about my mental health.
And while I've been drinking my Pumpkin Spice Latte's excessively, I've also been capturing little moments like those on my camera. I really want to get better at photography (sure isn't that why I invested in my Canon - to take nice pictures?) One my favourite said photos is my Starbucks cup and autumn leaves on Tartan to your right. I'm thinking of putting 'take better photos' on my resolutions list for the new year.
I've really tried to make the most of my weekends by spending time outdoors. Yes, I know it's chilly; but wrap up warm and it'll be no harm to ye! I absolutely hate that I'm stuck in the office 9-5, and only get outside when it's already dark on weekdays. It's not good for you! So there's been lots of trips to the park, the forest and the lake to make up for my Vitamin D deficiency.
Meeting this new puppy.
Isn't she adorable? Blog readers, meet Hazel. This little ray of sunshine has licked my face enough times now that she's already a part of our ever expanding family. She loves cuddles, and as you should know by now, cuddles bring me joy.
Reuniting with my favourite.
I got to see my best friend for the first time in about three months in October. I brought along this quote that I felt summed up our friendship; "It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them."
The Oscars Party
It's been hailed as the best event of 2015. Only joking, but it was very exciting to plan a fun dress-up party in work just in time for Halloween. The kids had a great time, and I got hugs and a present from them to say 'Thank you'. There'll be a full round-up of throwing your own Oscars Party on the blog later this week!
Until the end of November, that's it from the Favourites...
